FAQ

HANGING:

All our artwork can be hung using small nails hammered directly into the wall - no drilling required. Some of the pieces come with clamps attached to the back and these will stand 1 cm from the wall. The pieces that come with clamps also come with bolts at the bottom to ensure even spacing from the wall.

Some of the smaller pieces can also be mounted using good quality double-sided tape.

Do not use double-sided tape for:

1) Patios/outdoors. The moisture in the air might loosen adhesive strength.

2) Textured walls. The texturing will prevent even adhesion.

All pieces sold on the website are light enough to hang using the methods listed above. For custom orders weighing upwards of 5 kilograms, please get installation advice from an expert.

CARE:

Metal art only needs the occasional dusting to keep cobwebs or dust from gathering. Use a dry, soft cloth to lightly wipe off dust.

Handle pieces with care. Pay special attention to sharp edges that are part of the design.

Make sure not to drop the pieces. The impact may damage the paint finish which will lead to rusting. If this happens, scrape down the rust and touch up the affected areas.

SHIPPING:

International shipping:

We offer International shipping to most countries. Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout.

Due to external factors, shipping time is not guaranteed. Usually it takes anywhere between 5-14 days depending on the country and area.

Each product will be bubble-wrapped and sent out in a corrugated cardboard box for maximum safety.

Within India:

We offer shipping to all locations in India. Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout.

Once the order gets sent out, we will send you an email with a link where you can track your order.

Online orders are shipped within 2-7 business days. Shipping within India usually takes anywhere between 2-7 days.

If some products are out of stock, we will notify you of the estimated shipping date.

REFUND & RETURNS:

We do not accept cancellations and refunds at this time.

All orders go through a stringent quality check before shipping. On the off chance that you receive a product in damaged condition:

1) Take a photo of the condition in which it was received.

2) Email it to store.cleanslate@gmail.com within 3 business days.

3) Include your invoice number for reference.

If the return has been accepted, the amount will be refunded via the original mode of payment within one week of initiation.

Clean Slate retains the right to not accept returns.
